Seven out of 10 retailers feel suppliers don’t understand their operational difficulties, according to a poll carried out by Retail’s Best, the fresh, new concept in events that takes place on 29 May 2014 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
Tackling this issue and helping suppliers to understand retailers’ operational difficulties will be a key focus of Retail’s Best, when it takes place later this month.
The brainchild of independent retailer Moiz Vas, Vas is able to use the empathy that he feels for his fellow retailers to be the driving force that’s needed to get the key suppliers in the industry to listen and engage with leading retailers to make a difference.
Vas said: “We’re very excited to have some of the biggest players in the industry, including Gulf, MICROS, Tokheim and Londis, along with a high calibre of retailers in the same room.
“We all have the mutually beneficial goal of doing business. Retail’s Best evolved from a series of tried and tested customer nights that Vas’ events company has hosted for key players in the retail sector over the last few years. More events are planned for later in the year.
