Whitstable Bay Blonde, the premium lager from Shepherd Neame’s Faversham Steam Brewery, is sporting new packaging for its 12x330ml SKU to achieve better stand-out on shelf.
A contemporary refreshing, golden lager, Whitstable Bay Blonde is named after the vibrant coastal town of Whitstable, which is renowned for its culture, seafood and beaches.
The new 12x330ml case mirrors the bottle label’s design, which reflects the town’s roots through the use of an oyster dredger silhouette and a laidback, sun-bleached aesthetic, yet retains a modern edge through the use of clean, simple lines and bold silver and black iconography.
Brewed with a blend of Kentish, American and Czech hops, Whitstable Bay Blonde has a scent of fresh flowers, paired with buttery biscuit base notes, and delivers a balanced flavour with a floral bitterness. At 4.5% ABV, it’s a pale, refreshing lager, which goes perfectly with fish and chicken dishes, even those with a touch of spice.
Whitstable Bay brand manager Rachael Boswell said: “Whitstable Bay Blonde is a high quality, modern lager inspired by a coastal town with heritage. The new-look 12-pack better communicates these credentials and improves buyer appeal.”
Also in 24x330ml cases, Whitstable Bay Blonde is available nationally, both directly through wholesalers such as Bookers and directly from Shepherd Neame.
