Spar UK launches nationwide Sparbecue campaign


In an effort to amplify its successful range of own label products – many of which are award-winning, the retailer has broken new ground with a mass ’Spar becue’ initiative – 500 parties taking place simultaneously across the entire UK to showcase the brand’s range of fresh food, wine and barbecue essentials.

The ‘Sparbecues’ are hosted by customers in their own homes for groups of their friends. The exciting initiative has been created to champion key own brand products and spark impactful social media chatter. The hashtag #Sparbecue will connect all of the online conversations together in a big swell of engagement and to date the campaign has resulted in 5,000 target customers enjoying a range of Spar branded products.
