Spar’s annual Wine Festival is back for a successful fifth year, with a focus on bringing customers award-winning wines from just £4.00.
This year’s wine festival will feature over 80 deals across Spar brand wines, the Spar Exclusives range, and branded lines, starting from 20 March until 7 May 2014.
The Festival will highlight to customers the award-winning quality and fantastic value of Spar brand and Exclusive wines that can be found in stores, from as little as £4.00.
Both Spar brand and branded wines taking part in the promotion will be at Round Pound promotional price points, to encourage customers to purchase and help drive sales.
The Wine Festival will be supported by Spar’s national TV campaign in April, with key lines from the SolaÌ, Perlezza and Modesta brands featured on a 20 second TV advert. The advert will further highlight the promotional prices of £4.00, £5.00 and £6.00.
The promotion will also gain exposure through consumer press, the Spar UK website, Spar Live radio, Facebook and Twitter, as well as eye-catching POS in stores.
Chris Lewis, Spar UK licensed trading director, said: “This year’s Wine Festival will put our fantastic quality wines in the spotlight, offering a great price incentive to consumers and helping retailers to boost sales.
“By offering the wines at Round Pound price points, our retailers can show customers the great value they provide, while highlighting our extensive, award-winning range,” he said.
Some of the Spar brand wines taking part in the Wine Festival promotion are Sola Red, White and Rose and Modesta Viura (all £4.00) Terra Ricca Garganega and Sangiovese (£5.00) and Perlezza Prosecco, Gavi and Chianti all on offer at £6.00.
