Subway has unveiled a range of 21 new and improved ingredients, as well as a selection of brand new menu items to give customers even more flavour choice.

Introducing the Make It What You Want Station. Found at the end of the counter, customers are encouraged to add further finishing touches to their Sub, salad or wrap. Ingredients include Chopped SunBlush Tomatoes, providing the perfect sweet and salty bite to your salad, vibrant Diced Beetroot, an ideal addition as we come into summer, or Crispy Onions for a delicious savoury crunch.

Amongst the new additions, Subway is proud to introduce Gluten Free Bread, allowing Subway to cater for those who follow a gluten-free diet. Also new is Chilli & Paprika Bread, a freshly baked white loaf infused with chilli and paprika that’s packed with heat.

Other menu updates include new ingredients such as Spinach and improved favourites like Maple Cured Streaky Bacon and free range Poached Eggs. Subway has introduced a new technology unique to the brand that ensures the free range eggs guarantee a perfectly soft yolk every time.

Subway is also introducing four new menu items, including the Tuna Niçoise Salad, topped with the fee range Poached Egg, as well as a new Thai Chicken Salad. Also launching are two new Signature Loaded Wraps, including the Vegan Signature Loaded Wrap. Featuring the warmly spiced Vegan Patty and Vegan Garlic Aioli in a Tomato Basil Wrap, it’s set to be a new free-from favourite. For a meatier meal, there’s a delicious BBQ Chicken and Bacon Signature Loaded Wrap too.

There are also changes to Subway’s sauce offering, including improved Hickory Smoked BBQ Sauce for a sweet and smoky hit of All-American goodness; and the fiery new Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce for those who like their food fiery.

The new and improved range of ingredients is available in-stores now, and will be supported by a 30-second TV ad which airs on 15th July. This comes as part of Subway’s new Make It What You Want brand relaunch, which focuses on its ability to customise to customers’ specifications in a way none of its rivals can. It will be followed by exciting activity across print, radio, PR and social.
