PXtech, a leading BI solutions specialist and retail technology provider, has been recognised by the Subway restaurant chain for its technical excellence and commitment to the global brand with a Special Recognition Award at the chain’s annual convention in San Diego.
The Special Recognition Award honours the outstanding work undertaken by PXtech, in working with the brand to identify, respond to and resolve a potentially significant global IT issue.
Carman Wenkoff, CIO at Subway, said: “PXtech’s ongoing responsiveness and support marks the outstanding and essential contribution they consistently make to our business. The Special Recognition Award is a reflection of the technical excellence, professionalism and commitment to the Subway brand that we see in all of the work they do for us and our franchisees on a daily basis. “
Richard Dorf, CEO at PXtech, said: “For a company of Subway’s prestige to present us with this award is a tremendous recognition of our expertise and commitment to the Subway brand.
“We have been working together for 10 years and this represents the pinnacle of our relationship so far. At PXtech, we treat awards and accolades as a spur to take us onto the next level of innovation and service and we look forward to a continued partnership with Subway as we work to further cement its position as the number one global quick-service restaurant chain.”
The Special Recognition Award was presented in San Diego at the Subway chain’s annual convention. Each year the Subway brand presents Awards for suppliers and partners who have made a major contribution to the world’s largest restaurant chain. In 2011, PXtech won the Technology Vendor of the Year Award.
