The Wykeland Group has announced that health and beauty retailer, Superdrug, is to open a 4,000sq ft store at Flemingate, the 162,561sq ft retail and leisure development in Beverley. In addition, Outfit, the out-of-town fashion destination retailer, has revealed it will be opening its 13,300sq ft Flemingate store on 8 October and creating 40 new jobs.
Superdrug’s new store has been specfically adapted to meet their customers’ needs in line with their segmentation strategy. Opening in addition to the retailer’s other location in Toll Gavel, it will stock brands such as Makeup Revolution, B., and L’Oreal.
Outfit will stock womenswear and menswear from across Arcadia’s portfolio of brands, including Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Wallis, and Burton. The new unit will feature a pupose-built footwear space, a personal shopping service, and a Topshop nail bar. The store, which is part of the brand’s expansion within Yorkshire, marks their 76th nationwide.
The two new brands follow the recent addtions of Baytree Interiors, Peacocks, and River Island, which opened last week. In total, the five brands make up 37,000sq ft of new retail lettings in the last two months.
