Swedish fruit cider brand, älska, adds two seasonal flavours and can four-pack


Swedish fruit cider brand, älska, is introducing two new seasonal flavours to its range plus a new can, a first for the UK market. The launch coincides with the busy summer period and is aimed at the late-night and festival audience.

älska, which means ‘love’ in Swedish, has created two innovative and seasonal flavours to expand its range: the exotic ‘Pear & Lychee’ and the unique ‘Peach & Raspberry’. Completely natural and bursting with fruity aromas; these flavours are drier than other fruit ciders and are intended to appeal to even those who wouldn’t normally drink cider.

The two flavours, which are available in 500ml bottles, join the innovative Lemon & Ginger flavour in the existing älska range, plus the modern takes on classic flavours, Nordic Berries and Strawberry & Lime. älska has been created to offer natural refreshment with a smooth taste, without being too sweet.

Following the success of the Nordic Berries and Strawberry & Lime variants, älska is launching these flavours in 330ml sleek cans sold in packs of four. A first for the fruit cider market, the sleek can is designed to be enjoyed instantly and on the go. With minimal but striking packaging the älska sleek can is an ideal choice for those wishing to enjoy a refreshing drink this summer.

älska is made from 100% natural ingredients, is gluten free and suitable for vegans. With an ABV of 4% älska is available from national, regional and independent retailers, and the on-trade through national wholesale partners like Carlsberg, LWC and Inverarity Morton’s.
