The Co-operative Food claims to have taken inspiration from one of Britain’s favourite puddings to create a new Truly Irresistible Apple Crumble and Cinnamon Ice Cream.

With a fruity apple ripple, the cinnamon-flavoured ice cream is made from free range eggs and West Country milk and cream, and studded with crumble pieces.

The ice cream is said to be made from an exclusive recipe and is part of The Co-operative’s premium range and will be available nationwide from 26 September, priced at £3.49 for 500ml.

Also, back by popular demand for winter is The Co-operative Truly Irresistible Brandy Butter Ice Cream, which will go into stores from 17 October 2012 and will be available at £3.49 for 500ml.

The ice cream is made with Courvoisier brandy, West Country milk and cream and free-range eggs. According to the retailer, it is perfect for giving traditional mince pies and Christmas puddings a terrific twist.
