Bullring, Birmingham’s iconic shopping centre, announces that world-famous jewellery brand, Tiffany & Co, and international designer brand, Louis Vuitton, have launched new stores at Selfridges Birmingham, adding to the existing premium line-up of brands in the centre.
Located on the fourth floor of Selfridges, Tiffany & Co. officially opened its store on October 27. Designed by an in-house team, the 1,400sq ft boutique features the jeweller’s magnificent collections. Among them are the world’s most beautiful diamonds and gemstones, as well as fine and fashion jewellery collections of modern style.
Joining Tiffany & Co at Selfridges is the international designer brand, Louis Vuitton. The new 1,700sq ft store, which opened on November 18, will soon be the only Louis Vuitton store in Birmingham. The brand stocks the new ‘Masters’ collection in collaboration with Jeff Koons, alongside its signature product range, which includes men’s and women’s leather goods, accessories, shoes and women’s fragrance.
Michaela Moore, general manager, Bullring and Grand Central, commented: “Tiffany & Co and Louis Vuitton are fantastic additions to Selfridges, Birmingham. These global brands are a unique point of difference for our customers, reflecting just how highly regarded Birmingham is in a national context. Combined with the opening of Fumo in Selfridges last month, Bullring now boasts a mix of luxury brands more akin to central London than ever before.”
Barratt West, Vice President and Managing Director at Tiffany & Co UK & Ireland, added, “We are delighted to be opening this boutique in Birmingham, further building upon Tiffany’s long and successful presence in the UK. Birmingham is a city on the move and a growing luxury marketplace with a vibrant cultural scene. We are proud to be part of this exciting time for the city.”
Sam Watts, Selfridges Birmingham general manager, said: “The arrival of Louis Vuitton, Fumo and Tiffany has added to the roll-call of about 200 premium brands that are sold exclusively in the Birmingham store. We’re constantly evolving and finding new brands for our customers to discover. These exciting changes on Level Four have added yet another degree of luxury that helps us to stand out in the busy retail sector in the city centre.”
Bullring has an annual footfall of over 36 million, with retailers performing on average 55% ahead of their national averages.
