Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has a seen a busy start to summer with almost 8m visitors since the begining of July which follows a 6.4% year-on-year uplift in footfall for the first 6 months of the year, with 39.72m visitors across both centres. Sales across both centres were up 7.1% in the first half of 2019.
It means Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City continued to buck the trend in the first half of 2019, having recorded a record 81.8m visitors in 2018. 20% of that figure was from international tourists to the UK capital.

Almost 8m shoppers have visited the centres since the beginning of July as people look to come together to enjoy the best in retail, dining, entertainment and unique events.”
