Lyons introduces coffee bags

United Coffee has relaunched its Lyons coffee brand in individually wrapped coffee bags and added three blends.

The coffee bags contain UK-roasted and ground coffee in individual foil-wrapped bags. According to the company, the packaging format is convenient and maintains the flavour and freshness.

The three new blends are:

·     Lyons Good Morning (Bright Breakfast Coffee)
·     Coffee Break (Smooth All-Day Coffee)
·     Luxurious Gourmet Italian (Rich Evening Coffee)

To celebrate the relaunch, Lyons has teamed up with the Royal British Legion and will donate three pence from every pack sold to the Poppy Appeal during its 90th year celebrations.

Elaine Higginson, United Coffee’s managing director UK & Ireland, said: “We are seeing a shift towards quality coffee occasions in the home. Lyons’ coffee bags are ideal for anyone looking for a good coffee in a convenient format.

“It’s early days but the new packs and flavours seem to be a hit with coffee lovers, and of course every pack bought includes a donation to The Royal British Legion, which makes our coffee taste even better.”

The Lyons’ coffee product range includes coffee beans, roast and ground coffee.
