Wayfair Inc, one of the world’s largest online destinations for home, today announced that it has been named the Best Shopping Mobile Site & App in the 22nd Annual Webby Awards. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honour” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organisation honouring excellence on the Internet. IADAS, which nominates and selects The Webby Award Winners, is comprised of digital industry experts, including Lyft CEO Logan Green, Girls Who Code Founder Reshma Saujani, Gimlet Media CEO Alex Blumberg, Instagram’s Eva Chen, CNN host Van Jones, Internet inventor Vint Cerf, and Playmatics CEO Margaret Wallace.

Wayfair’s ‘Search with Photo’ feature, which leverages machine learning to help customers quickly identify lookalike products from Wayfair’s catalogue of more than 10 million items, also earned an honourable mention in the Best Use of Machine Learning category.
Wayfair will be honoured at the star-studded Webby Awards ceremony on Monday May 14, 2018, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, where winners will have an opportunity to deliver one of The Webby Awards’ famous 5-Word Speeches.
