Weetabix On The Go Kids, a new drinks range aimed at 5-10-year olds, has launched in grocery stores in three delicious flavours; Strawberry, Banana and Chocolate.

The Weetabix On The Go Kids drinks provide the equivalent energy, fibre and protein of one Weetabix Original and milk, ideal for consumption as part of a nutritious breakfast. The drinks are a source of vitamin D, calcium, fibre and protein, as well as containing no artificial sweeteners, colours or flavour.

Weetabix On The Go has recently introduced traffic lights on its bottles, with no red traffic lights across its range, including the Kids drinks, which contain the same sugar content as a glass of semi-skimmed milk

Beth Reeve, brand manager for Weetabix Drinks, said: “We know that parents want to deliver a good breakfast to their children, but fussy eating habits and our busy lives can sometimes get in the way. The new Weetabix On The Go Kids range is great as part of a nutritious and balanced breakfast or morning top up – ideal for hectic mornings and snacking while on the move. We have worked hard to ensure we keep sugar levels to a minimum without compromising on taste and we’re proud of the fact Weetabix On The Go Kids has the same sugar content as a glass of semi-skimmed milk.”

Weetabix On The Go drinks has a 77% market share in the breakfast drinks sector[1] and has sold over 60 million bottles since launching in 2014.

Shoppers will have the opportunity to name the front of pack monster as part of the fun launch campaign. The launch will also be supported through POS, in-store promotions and a social media campaign. Weetabix is continuing to investing in their heavyweight “Have You Had Your Weetabix?” TV advertising campaign, which has proven a huge success for the brand.

Reeve adds: “We’ve created the bright, colourful ‘monster’ designs to jump off the shelves for parents and kids alike, and the packs have fun games on the back to keep kids busy. The Tetra Pak packaging is a proven format for children, and means kids can be independent when drinking so you can avoid messy spillages!”

Available from April 2018, Weetabix On The Go Kids is available in multipacks (4 x 180ml) with an MRRSP of £3.
