London-based What On Earth, which produces and supplies organic products to retailers and food service operators, will distribute GO*DO’s six strong chocolate bar range to retail customers.
The 35g bars will be supplied in cases of 30 and are priced to retail at 99p per bar. According to the company, the bars are ideal as a grab and go product.
Commenting on the new partnership, What On Earth’s co-founder, Jeremy Jaffe, said: “We are extremely proud to be working with GO*DO. This new and exciting company produces a delicious product and it really is a great fit for What On Earth.
“GO*DO’s organic chocolate sits well beside our own products and enhances the high standard of the food we supply. We think it will be popular with our customers, especially if they like it as much as we do,” he said.
GO*DO was launched in 2010 at the Chocolate Unwrapped Show.
In 2011 the company was commended at the Organic Food Awards and also won two accolades at the Academy of Chocolate Awards. GO*DO chocolate is produced by a family-owned chocolatier in Italy who buys organic cocoa beans direct from the farmers.
Simon Wright of GO*DO said: “I am delighted to be working with What On Earth. The company is well known in the organic food industry and they produce some great products. They’re fun to work with too. GO*DO is already popular in Italy and Japan and I think this partnership could be the start of some good business for us in the UK too.”
What On Earth was established 13 years ago when the co-founders made and sold one organic pizza. Since then, the company has become a leading manufacturer in the organic food industry and produces a wide range of products – from organic pizzas and cheesecakes to organic berry bags and coconut milk.
What on Earth products can be bought in both on and off trade outlets across the UK.
