Young family with passion for colour and pattern star in Dunelm’s campaign

Dunelm has launched its national TV advertising campaign for Spring, starring Verity Matthews and Adam Isaac and their family of four based in Kingston-Upon-Thames. The advert, which will air from today, peeks behind the doors of the cherished family home of real Dunelm customers and is the latest in a series of adverts from Dunelm that champions real families and their real homes.

Verity and Adam met 12 years ago and lived in a cosy, two-bed flat in the heart of Streatham Hill for ten very happy years. However, a year ago they decided they needed more space to raise their two young children, Henry-Valentine (5) and Cassius (1), and so moved back to Verity’s hometown of Kingston, making the transition of ‘upsizing’ to a three-bedroom home.

Over the past 12 months Verity and Adam have found joy in transforming their blank-canvas space into a forever home, that suits their busy lifestyles and is perfect for raising a family. As genuine Dunelm customers who admire the vast range of products on offer, from bed sheets to sofas and everything in between, Dunelm has played a huge part in this transformation. Dunelm’s broad product range has helped the couple furnish whole rooms including their open-plan kitchen and dining space, known as the ‘Everything’ room for eating, socialising and playing, as well as the calm haven of the ‘Chill Out’ room – creating their home into a space that they love.

Shopping at Dunelm has allowed the couple to express their unique and united interior tastes, which bares significant influence on the look and feel of their home. Commenting on this Adam says:; “Verity and I share a love for bright bold colours and geometric patterns, and Dunelm has definitely helped us transform our house into a family home which is a true representation of both our personalities and styles merged into one. From Verity’s Art Deco mirror to my eye for quirky cushions and diffusers – It’s just another reason why it’s one of our favourite stores.”

Having previously seen the Real Families adverts on TV, Verity was delighted at the prospect of starring in the next one “It was a complete surprise when we were approached, but since we love Dunelm and always shop there we felt this was the right opportunity and most importantly that our appearance in the advert was authentic. Our home is filled with Dunelm products, so it was the perfect backdrop.”

Dunelm’s Real Families advert airs from 20 February for five weeks on ITV and its derivative channels.
