Tyrrells, the English snack brand this week unveils its new Poshcorn range. Popped at Tyrrells Court Farm, Tyrrells Poshcorn is positioned as a sweet-spot saviour for consumers looking to cut back on treats such as chocolate.
The Poshcorn launch brings with it a raft of new developments, including a pack rebrand, recipe improvements (Tyrrells best-selling Sweet & Salty variant is now made with golden caster sugar to deliver extra deliciousness), and two new flavours developed in partnership with its ‘popconnoiseurs’ consumer panel; Coconut & Caramel and Lemon Cupcake.
Tyrrells has played a key part in creating the sharing ‘ready to eat’ premium popcorn category, with the British appetite for premium popcorn leading to 32% MAT growth in the popcorn segment (Nielsen February 2015).
