Doves Farm invests £500,000 to unlock free from baking

Doves Farm, the award-winning family-owned Wiltshire millers and bakers specialising in Organic and Free From flours and foods, has confirmed significant involvement with the Allergy and Free From Show for the next three years, at a value of £500,000.

With Free From food sales forecast to grow to £531m in 2016, and a whopping £673 million by 2020, Doves Farm is making a notable investment into the industry in which its core business revolves. The investment enables Doves Farm to take prime position at both the London and Liverpool events this year, offering a fully immersive experience to unlock Free From baking to tackle the challenges faced in allergen-aware households.

As the Cooking Zone Sponsor, the Doves Farm stand will feature several areas including the Doves Farm Kitchen, where Free From baking recipes will be demonstrated; a VIP Table centred around their new Free From pastas; a Guest Kitchen featuring a range of chefs cooking gluten free dishes, as well as a Social Corner which will host fun activities from yoga sessions to book signings.

Doves Farm is a well-known pioneer within the Organic and Free From sectors. Commenting on the announcement, Clare Marriage, co-founder of Doves Farm, said: “We have been advocates for this industry since the beginning and we fully believe that this substantial investment is worthwhile, especially with the industry growing at such a significant rate. With an increasing amount of people avoiding certain ingredients due to an allergy or intolerance, or even due a lifestyle choice, we want to highlight how accessible Free From baking can be.”

Doves Farm offers two distinct product ranges – Organic and Free From – both milled in their own dedicated mills. The Organic range – the go-to brand for home-baking – features a range of high quality and innovative premium flours including those milled from ancient grains such as KAMUT® which is a Khorasan wheat and Emmer, one of the first grains cultivated by mankind. It also offers flours milled from more traditional grains such as spelt, rye and of course wheat as well as yeast and an assortment of biscuits made from its own flour. The Free From range – the go-to brand for Free From baking and food for the day – includes flours, baking essentials, pasta, breakfast cereals, cookies and flapjacks, all milled and produced in its dedicated allergen free bakery.
