The Activate Solutions Group has launched a digital advertising service called StreetAd and is targeting convenience stores and independent retailers.
StreetAd is a new digital screen business, which will see 46in exterior facing screens appearing in the windows of independent retailers and major convenience store groups across the UK. The service is being trialled in the run up to Christmas, with plans to roll out the network to 10,000 stores.
The screens will carry a mix of targeted community messaging, local service news (such as weather and transport information) a selection of local business advertising and national brand advertising for promoted product ranges within each store. Content will be tailored to each location, giving businesses the opportunity to take advantage of time based services to ensure consumers see the right information at the right time. Onscreen QR codes will drive online traffic and promotion redemption, via advertising creative designed to entice passersby to interact with what they see on the screens.
