Talend, the global big data integration software leader, today announced that ALDO Group Inc., a privately held Canadian corporation that sells footwear and accessories in more than 1,750 stores in 82 countries, is using Talend Platform for Data Services to support its next-generation, robust and scalable service-oriented architecture. The new architecture powers ALDO’s updated e-commerce platform, which is able to manage peak loads and deliver a positive consumer experience even as sales volume increases exponentially during peak buying periods.

Due to its open source and standards-based approach, Talend Platform for Data Services was quick for ALDO’s development teams to learn and allowed them to be more productive by enabling greater service reuse with its single, unified workflow and toolset for data, application, and service integration.
