Amazon announced as lead sponsor for Growing Business Awards, with CBI continuing longstanding support

The Amazon Growing Business Awards today announced it is now accepting entries for the 18th consecutive year, as Amazon was named headline sponsor. Created by Real Business, with further support from the CBI, the Amazon Growing Business Awards are the most established and respected national recognition programme of small and medium sizes enteprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurial success.

Organisations can now submit their entries for the awards through to 23 September, in up to 15 categories. Entries are submitted via an online form on the main website,

  • B2B Business of the Year supported by ECI

  • The Triumph over Adversity Award

The Growing Business Awards were first launched in 1999. Now in their eighteenth year, the Amazon Growing Business Awards will continue that tradition to uncover and recognise the UK’s most exceptional businesses; most ambitious and inspiring business leaders; and its most outstanding and committed entrepreneurs.

Signifying the importance of these awards and the value of the SME sector to the UK economy as a whole, previous VIP guests to have graced the ceremony include Bill Gates, Gordon Brown and Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
