LLamasoft, the global leader in supply chain design software and solutions, is delighted to be shortlisted along with customer Argos for the 2016 European Supply Chain Excellence Awards, in the category of Supply Chain Strategy and Design.
This year sees the 20th anniversary of the industry’s premier awards ceremony, taking place on 14 November at the prestigious Hilton, Park Lane, where the winners will be announced.
Judged by a panel of industry experts from leading businesses, the awards recognise the most outstanding examples of supply chain best practices.
The joint entry is based on a project that Argos undertook that focused on its customer delivery goals. Utilising LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Argos implemented a new hub and spoke operating model, which the company has leveraged to create a ‘FastTrack’ delivery model to deliver to 95 percent of U.K. households within the same day.
“We are delighted to be shortlisted with our joint entry,” said executive director of customer success for LLamasoft EMEA, Phil Gibbs. “The submission is testament to the close working relationship we have with the Argos team. We’re looking forward to awards ceremony and continuing to share the value that LLamasoft is providing to retailers worldwide.”
