Asda Mobile is the nation’s favourite pay-as-you-go provider, according to a national survey carried out by Which? magazine.
For the third year running, the retailer has come ahead of the pack, beating all leading mobile phone brands.
In the annual Which? phone satisfaction survey, the independent reviewer reveals the best and worst phone networks available. The networks were judged on a number of criteria including customer service, cost and coverage.
Asda Mobile was praised for its cheap calls and texts at 10p and 6p respectively. These undercut offers from rivals, including another supermarket, which charges 25p per minute and 10p per text, said Which? Asda Mobile also scored highly for its customer service with staff highlighted as both friendly and informative.
Asda Mobile said it is currently promoting a wide range of deals on both handsets and tariffs for its users. Currently on sale is the Nokia 100, a small lightweight phone, priced at £20.
The Nokia comes with a 1.8in colour screen, FM radio, games and has a talk time of over seven hours when fully charged.
