Astound Commerce today announces that it has added Bata, Fenwick, Hobbycraft and WHSmith to its growing roster of 40 retail customers across the UK and Middle East. This rapid expansion forms part of the company’s ambitious growth plans, which have also seen several key hires to support Astound’s enhanced consultancy service. Driving forward the new service offering will be Michael Wood, who has recently been appointed as Principal Digital Consultant, and Kristian Cooper who joins Astound as Consultancy Practice Lead.
Wood is a highly qualified customer experience and digital expert, who brings over 15 years’ experience in the retail industry and three years in digital consultancy across a variety of fields. He joins Astound from Pragma Consulting where he held the position of Digital Director. Wood will advise Astound’s client base on how best to grow their sales pipelines and open new revenue streams through developing and delivering first-rate digital offerings.
Cooper has over 18 years of experience within the digital software industry. He joins Astound from Kao Corporation, where he headed up the company’s Digital Commerce Centre of Excellence and was responsible for omnichannel commerce, mobile and CRM delivery across EMEA and Americas. In his new role at Astound, Cooper will lead on delivering strategic advice to clients on their digital transformation requirements, including continuing to help customers transition to Salesforce Commerce Cloud for increased agility and scalability.
