Aviva Investors announce the opening of MANGO store at The Bentall Centre, Kingston upon Thames

Aviva Investors have today announced that MANGO will open a store at The Bentall Centre, Kingston-upon-Thames, joining a retail fashion line up which includes:, Hugo Boss, And Other Stories, COS, Zara, H&M, Hollister, Massimo Dutti and Tommy Hilfiger.

The new MANGO store will occupy a 4,450 sqft unit on the first floor of the centre.

The arrival of MANGO represents another step in the assets strategy to assert its dominance as the leading retail and leisure destination outside of Central London. The asset has recently welcomed, out of Central London, debut stores for international brands NYX Cosmetics and West Elm, the USA homewares retailer.

Kingston is reknowned for its affluent catchment and the Bentall Centre continues to attract a higher number of affluent customers that reside in the catchment. The arrival of MANGO and other trend setting global brands demonstrate the continuing popularity of The Bentall Centre with both shoppers and retailers.

Our retail and leisure leasing plans are being complemented by an investment into shopper spaces, guest services and experiences to increase shopper visits, dwell time and ultimately the sales performances of our retail partners”.

The Bentall Centre opened in 1992 in the heart of Kingston and today is a prime retail destination for the town with an annual footfall of over 13.4 million shoppers (or 258,000 weekly). The centre comprises over 75 units arranged over four trading levels and 640,000 sq.ft.

The centre is anchored by a 365,000 (33,910 sq m) Bentall Department Store (part of the Fenwick Group). Recent lettings include: Hugo Boss, West Elm, NYX, Zara, Tortilla and The Entertainer. Other tenants include; And Other Stories, New Look, Zara Home, Apple, WH Smith, Hollister, Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland, COS and Dune.
