It’s not quite a British Bank holiday without a bit of temperamental weather. Come rain, shine, or a bit of both, there’s no doubt Brits will be heading outdoors to make the most of the long weekend. From the burgers and baps to the BBQ itself, Deliveroo customers can get all the bank holiday essentials they need, delivered to the door in as little as 20 mins. From today, customers will be able to order everything from disposable BBQS to Factor 30 sunscreen from grocery and local stories across the country via Deliveroo.
Just in time for the bank holiday, Deliveroo’s on-demand partners including Co-op, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose and Majestic Wine, have added even more items to ranges found on the food-delivery app, to ensure Brits can have a banger of a bank holiday.
For anyone without a BBQ in the back garden, Co-op, BP, Shell and One Stop are selling disposable BBQ’s for a limited time only on the Deliveroo app, while stocks last. Prices starting at £3.50. Customers are being urged to follow all safety guidelines for using disposable BBQs as per the packaging information.
Hot or not
Come rain or shine – nothing short of freezing temperatures will stop the nation from heading outside and making the most of the bank holiday. In preparation for hot (or not) temperatures, Waitrose is selling Nivea SPF30 Sunscreen on Deliveroo to help protect customers from the rays.
Customers can also cool down with a range of ice creams from Co-op including their Co-op Rainbow Uni-Cones, with prices starting from just £1.20.
A range of BBQ food items have been added to Co-op, Aldi, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons in-app Deliveroo selection.
Co-op is offering a BBQ bundles on Deliveroo to feed 4 this weekend, including Warburtons 8 Soft White Sliced Rolls, Co-op Mature Cheddar Slices, Co-op British 4 Beef Quarter Pounder Burgers and Heinz Tomato Ketchup for £3.10 a head. For those wanting to avoid the washing up, Co-op is also selling Closed Cups, Ice-cubes, Kitchen Foil and Cling Film to make dining outside easier.
Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Aldi have also added some best-selling BBQ food items to menus ahead of the weekend, including BBQ meats, vegetarian and vegan BBQ alternatives, coleslaw, rolls and baps.
Customers can also order items including crisps, condiments, dips and soft drinks.
Customers can leave the heavy lifting to Deliveroo, by ordering from a huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available through the app.
The Co-op has everything customers need to make Sangria, with a bundle of ingredients available to order, including Hereford Tempranillo Malbec, Co-op NFC Smooth Orange Juice and Co-op Diet Sparkling Lemonade for £14.95.
Majestic Wine is offering a selection of more than 50 wines, spirits and champagnes to choose from including bank holiday favourites, La Belle Angele Rose and Prosecco Gioiosa Rose, ranging from £9 to £16.
Aldi, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons are also offering a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic including Pimm’s No. 1, classic lagers, craft beers, ciders and gin and tonic.
