Beefeater taxi: decadence and debauchery

British gin brand Beefeater is launching a 12-month advertising campaign on London taxis.

The campaign, which kicks off in time for Christmas, has been orchestrated by Transport Media.

Covering a full taxi livery, the advertisements feature a collage of illustrated London scenery and photographs of debauched occupants. Images include a tattoo parlour, playing cards, a chaise longue, suspenders and a motorbike. The Beefeater logo, meanwhile, takes centre stage.

Transport Media said the advertisements are designed to show the Beefeater brand is synonymous with clandestine and decadent behaviour.

The taxis have been employed as a publicity device to transport VIP guests to the London Beefeater gin factory and special events. According to Transport Media, the branded fleet will represent indulgence, while spreading the Beefeater name through the capital’s streets.
