If you’re heading to the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) this year, make sure you drop in on Spar Blakemore Trade Partners’ sales director, as he makes a special appearance on the event’s Question Time panel.
Neil Mercer will take to the stage at this year’s International Food and Drink Event (IFE) at London’s Excel, to talk to the audience about how the stores of tomorrow will operate.
As stores change, in everything from fixtures and fittings to range of products to formats and eat-in opportunities, this discussion will explore what’s possible as retailers and their suppliers invest in new concept stores.
The areas he’ll be covering on the panel include how Blakemore is focusing on shoppers’ missions with store planning and promotions, and the merge between foodservice and convenience and its success in Spar stores.
He will also discuss how store ownership is evolving, with Spar’s business development managers working more in partnership with retailers to grow their business; and how innovations in digital technology are on the rise in Blakemore’s stores.
The panel will also look at loyalty schemes, including the huge success of recent Sparschemes which are showing higher basket spend and visits – and much more!
Spar and Eat17 retailer James Brundle will also be making a special appearance at the event – another highlight not to be missed.
Mercer will be speaking during IFE’s Question Time, at 12.45pm on Wednesday 25 March, on The Hub stage.
