Blakemore Wholesale has increased its presence in South Wales by opening a further Bmorelocal… store in Ammanford, Carmathenshire.
The 1,600sq ft store opened its doors in May as a Bmorelocal… store following a £12,000 investment.
The former Lifestyle Express Extra convenience store located on a busy main road began life as the Golden Lion Hotel before retailer Raj Thavapatham converted it to a Lifestyle Express Extra Convenience store two years ago.
The store offers the full Bmorelocal… symbol group package together with 15 car parking spaces, free to use cash machine, Pay Point and Lottery. The store also features brand new chillers stocking fresh food, soft drinks, wine and beer together with a full food to go offering.
Bmorelocal… is Blakemore Wholesale’s premium store format, attracting the best retailers with the highest store standards.
Retailers have access to a full symbol group package including chilled, frozen, EPOS, food to go and drop shipments. In return, retailer’s sign up to a committed spend loyalty, taking tier 1 allocations and guaranteed promotional execution.

As part of Blakemore Wholesale’s commitment to making a significant, positive contribution to the communities it serves, the company’s charitable trust; the Blakemore Foundation has pledged to award each Bmorelocal… store £200 to donate to a charity of their choice. Raj has chosen to award his donation to Cancer Research UK.
