BOXPARK appoints David Gough as chief operations officer


BOXPARK, the award-winning retail, casual dining and leisure outlet has employed David Gough, former operations director at Stable Bar & Restaurants Ltd (Fuller’s), as chief operations officer with immediate effect.

With over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality sector, David Gough brings an extensive skill set to help build on BOXPARK’s success and take the business to the next level. Gough has a breadth of knowledge in all departments, including HR, marketing, finance and technology which will be utilised to ensure maximum efficiency across the business.

At BOXPARK, Gough will assume responsibility for all site operations alongside the current head of operations, reporting directly into the CEO. His role will involve leading and executing the company’s strategy, overseeing all commercial aspects of the business, enhancing the customer experience, and focusing on training and employee development.

During his career to date, Gough has demonstrated strong leadership capabilities after spearheading the brand mission and vision in his most recent role for Stable Bar & Restaurant Ltd, as well as growing the brand to 17 sites prior to selling the business to ThreeJoes Pizza in June 2020.

Over the span of his career, Gough has worked at all levels in the hospitality sector from kitchen staff and management to being a trained Chef, and has been a multi-site operator for over 20 years. His previous roles include Operations Director for privately owned leasehold pub/restaurant establishments with a core focus on the food offering, operations director for Good Company Inns Ltd & Olivo Restaurants Ltd, and senior operations manager at Pizza Express where he was responsible for 18 restaurants.
