BrewDog partners with grocery delivery service to provide cold beer DTC in a Jiffy

BrewDog is proud to partner with Jiffy to launch a new delivery service that is set to trial in the Islington and Teddington areas from this week. BrewDog Express, as the service is branded, will be accessible through users’ BrewDog.com account and gives people in the catchment area access to a selection of fresh, cold BrewDog beer including 12-packs of Punk IPA, Lost Lager, Hazy Jane and a mixed pack, featuring a selection of BrewDog beers.

As part of both brands’ commitment to sustainable business, all deliveries will be completed using eco-friendly e-bikes within a 2-mile radius in under 15 minutes. There are no minimum orders, and you don’t need to pick a delivery slot, so you can say goodbye to the supermarket slog and get fresh beer, fast with BrewDog Express.

The launch of BrewDog Express in two London locations, Islington and Teddington, marks the first step of the product launch, with more key areas identified to roll out in early 2022. With more areas and additional products set to follow, BrewDog and Jiffy look to combine forces and change the way people enjoy amazing craft beer in the comfort of their home.

The BrewDog Express service has been integrated into BrewDog.com. That means that people with a BrewDog.com account will automatically gain access to the beer delivery service providing they are located within the trial catchment areas. Orders can therefore be processed through their existing BrewDog accounts.

James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog, said: “We’ve seen a huge increase in our DTC business over the past 18 months. Developing a local delivery service where we can slice shipping times or eliminate supermarket trips means we can enhance our offering to loyal and new BrewDog consumers, giving them almost-instant access to super fresh and cold craft beer. We’re already eager to expand the BrewDog Express service and launch in new locations to give more and more people access to great beer in just minutes.”

Igor Demishev, co-founder of Jiffy, said:  “In Jiffy, we strongly believe that the q-commerce model will be adopted by different e-commerce players currently operating with traditional delivery. Combined with the DTC trend, q-commerce creates great opportunities for well-known brands to raise the bar of their relationship with customers.

But fulfilling such high expectations requires building surgically accurate processes powered with bulletproof IT solutions, which we are glad to share with our partners.

So we are happy to be on the bleeding edge of this trend with our partner Brewdog, which now is able to deliver its great products in minutes, ice cold with Jiffy Q-Commerce as a Service.”
