Restaurant chain, Brewers Fayre, is installing digital signage to promote its Buffet Place concept, which offers all-you-can-eat themed nights throughout the week.
The signage is being supplied by Spectrum Interactive, a leading UK provider of public Wi-Fi and related services.
Part of the Whitbread group, Brewers Fayre has 129 locations across the UK.
The digital signage solution it has selected includes flat-screen displays and media players, which allow the brand to dynamically manage content and its scheduling.
The signage has been trialed at Brewers Fayre High Wycombe, and is now rolling out to further locations with a target of 77 Brewers Fayre sites by September 2011.
Renata Zurawiel, head of restaurants marketing at Whitbread, said: “We wanted a high-quality solution that would give us the ability to schedule targeted messages in order to maximise awareness and the take up of Buffet Place.
“It was vital the system would provide complete flexibility to allow us to change content instantly and easily.
“The solutionSpectrum delivered initially for the trial at The Papermill, High Wycombe proved such a success we have rolled it out to other locations.”
Simon Fordham, general manager at Brewers Fayre, High Wycombe said: “Digital signage has been a real hit for us – it holds much more impact that posters or leaflets. Not only do the digital screens give us another way to ‘speak to the customer’ but they also add to the restaurant’s modern and bright appearance.”
