British TV brand Mitchell & Brown announces winners of its Summer of Sport competition

Celebrating an incredible season of sporting events, Mitchell & Brown has announced the three winners of its ‘Summer of Sport’ competition, which encouraged customers who purchased one of its TVs between 1st June and 31st August 2021 to enter a free prize draw for the chance to win back the cost of their purchase.  

Mitchell & Brown launched the exciting competition to mark the wealth of sporting events that took centre stage during summer 2021, including Euro 2021, Wimbledon, and the Tour de France as well as the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. The competition came hot off the back of the brand’s announcement of over 30 new TV models for 2021, from super-size 4K Smart TVs to smaller screens for the kitchen and bedroom with built-in DVD.

The winners, who were drawn at random were: 

1st Winner – Mr Timothy Wooley, who purchased his TV at Nantwich Television Centre, won back the cost of his 43-inch model.

2nd Winner – Mrs Hughes, who purchased from Sheldon Electricals in Biggleswade, won back the cost of her 32-inch model.  

3rd Winner – Mr Paul Anderson, who purchased from Tyne Valley TV in Prudhoe, also won the cost of his 43-inch model.
