New Coronation Chicken Royale
Burger King UK is celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with the launch of a snack that combines the flavour of coronation chicken with a Burger King classic. The Coronation Chicken Royale will be available at Burger King restaurants nationwide from 1 June 2012.
This new addition to the menu is made from 100% chicken breast coated and cooked in crispy crumbs with iceberg lettuce, topped in a curry-style sauce and served on a long toasted sesame-seeded bun.
The Coronation Chicken Royale is the first item available from Burger King UK’s new British-inspired summer menu, which will roll out across the UK from mid-June.
Jo Blundell, Burger King UK marketing director, said: “In the same year we celebrate our silver jubilee in the UK and almost 60 years of serving great tasting burgers globally, we thought what better way to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime occasion than add an royal touch to a much loved Burger King classic. We’re now just waiting for a royal order.”
