Burts Snacks appoints new head of branded sales


Award-winning premium snack brand, Burts Chips, has announced that James Cartwright has been appointed as head of branded sales, adding to the existing team of world-class industry experts, who bring drive, passion and a wealth of experience to the business.

Cartwright joins Burts Chips with experience in senior roles at a selection of some of the most recognisable names across the FMCG, Chilled Foods and Health & Technology sectors, both in the UK and internationally. His experience is made up of stints at several big household brands, including Walkers, Tropicana, Quaker, Ginsters and his most recent role as senior national account manager at Philips leading the Argos account.

Cartwright commented: “I’ve been thoroughly impressed by how much the Burts Chips brand has evolved over the last couple of years and I’m really pleased to have the opportunity to develop my career with such an innovative brand. It’s great to join such a talented team of individuals and to be able to work with them to continue to develop the Burts name through the coming years.”
