UK-based PXtech, the leading business intelligence solutions provider, has been recognised by international restaurant chain, SUBWAY, with two customer service awards at the 2015 SUBWAY Convention in Las Vegas. The wins represent the first time a technology company has won either of the awards.
PXtech won the Excellence in Customer Service Award in recognition of its proactive, creative and responsive approach to meeting the needs of the SUBWAY® system with cloud-based software, including business intelligence and labor management, which helps improve operational efficiency across more than 44,000 SUBWAY outlets in over 110 countries.
An individual accolade for customer service excellence was also awarded to Kerry Townsend, PXtech’s Customer Solutions Manager, for her responsiveness and willingness to go above and beyond in order to provide excellent customer service to SUBWAY franchisees.
Carman Wenkoff, CIO at SUBWAY, said: “The awards presented to PXtech at this year’s convention are acknowledgment of the company’s attentive service and inventive thinking which ensures that SUBWAY® always benefits from the best technology to suit its needs.”
Richard Dorf, CEO of PXtech, said: “This is a great honour for us all and recognises the hard work that is done every day by everyone on the PXtech team for SUBWAY and highlights the importance of PXtech to the SUBWAY system. I would also like to congratulate Kerry for the personal award.”
The awards were presented in Las Vegas at the 2015 SUBWAY Convention. Each year, the SUBWAY brand presents awards for suppliers and partners who have made a major contribution to the world’s largest restaurant chain. In 2011, PXtech won the Technology Vendor of the Year Award and in 2014 received a Special Recognition Award for its technical excellence and commitment to the global brand.
