Castle MacLellan is launching a range of seasonal pâtés in time for Christmas and New Year celebrations. They will be available from November and priced from £2.49.
Made from Scottish ingredients, the range features three varieties: Chicken Parfait with Brandy, Duck Liver Pâté with Port and Salmon Pâté.
The festive range comes in larger 170g packs, designed for sharing and can easily be turned out onto a plate for simple slicing or serving as part of a buffet.
According to the company, the pâtés can also be used as ingredients in festive recipes such as canapes, fish and meat dishes.
Castle MacLellan has been making pâtés since 1982 and claims to be dedicated to sourcing the best local ingredients from small companies rooted in Scottish heritage and provenance. The company works with a number of local suppliers, including Rannoch Smokery and The Orkney Fisherman’s Society.
