The Co-operative Food dedicates new content to parents and new mums on food website



The Co-operative Food is unveiling new content dedicated to parents and new mums on its food website developed in partnership with the UK’s number one parenting author and baby food and nutrition guru, Annabel Karmel.

Launching today (14 May 2014), the convenience retailer is giving families a chance to win a year’s supply of nappies in an exclusive competition to coincide with the launch.

The Co-operative new baby pages are aimed at families with young children and offer practical help and expert advice as well as nutritious recipes for babies and toddlers, created exclusively for the retailer by Annabel.

The launch of the new baby section of the retailer’s website recognises the increasing trend of parents sourcing information and advice online, and will be regularly updated with fresh new content and extras, including exciting new video content coming soon.

As a leading authority on feeding babies and children, Annabel will be writing regular articles for the retailer’s food website, offering expert advice and tips on everyday issues affecting new parents, including weaning and first foods. The first article to launch is an essential guide for new mums with a quick top ten of handy tips from socialising to housework.

The Co-operative Food’s website will include bespoke recipes suitable for babies and toddlers created by Annabel, with clear traffic light labelling to help guide parents. Cookery videos showing how the recipes can be made at home are coming soon.

Parents will be able to download easy-to-follow seasonal food planners for their babies and toddlers. Plus, mums and dads are able to ask for any help and advice through interactive social media live chats hosted on The Co-operative Twitter and Facebook page with Annabel herself.
