The festive season may be over, but the Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop, Costa Coffee, is here to help ease January blues with the launch of its incredible Limited Edition January menu, in stores nationwide from Thursday 2 January 2020. With its largest ever vegan offering including over 25 delicious food options, expanded range of healthy food and great value deals, this year’s menu is set to kick off the new year with a bang.
Embrace 2020 with new Coconut trio drinks range and Vegan Smoky Ham & CheeZe Toastie
Mix up the usual morning coffee choice with the delicious NEW! Coconut trio drinks range; three beautifully handcrafted drinks made with coconut plant-based (dairy alternative). The range is made up of a delicious Coconut Flat White, Coconut Vanilla Latte and Coconut Hot Chocolate for those in need of a chocolate fix.
Following a hugely successful response in November and December, plant-based coconut, almond and soya including lactofree milk, will continue to be available free of charge for a limited period, meaning more great tasting options to explore in the New Year.
Brand new for 2020 is the incredible Vegan Smoky Ham & CheeZe Toastie, a scrumptious take on Costa Coffee’s iconic Classic Ham & Cheese Toastie, but made without meat or dairy. The ‘Tradie Approved’ delicious, meat-free, Quorn Smoky Ham and tasty melted CheeZe offering is sandwiched between two slices of freshly toasted golden vegan bread – you’d be a fool not to give it a try!
The Ruby Cocoa Hot Chocolate is the perfect drink to sip in the run up to Valentine’s Day
If you’re thinking about impressing a special someone with something different, the Ruby Cocoa Hot Chocolate, a pink-hued hot chocolate topped with cream, is guaranteed to pop on social media feeds. Costa Coffee will be first coffee shop to launch on the High Street. A delicious and stunning rose-coloured hot chocolate; lusciously smooth with a hint of fruitiness, made from natural ruby cocoa beans.
The sweet showstoppers don’t end there; complement your beautiful ruby beverage with a Strawberry Croissant, a flaky vegan croissant filled with strawberry jam.
For the full Valentine’s package, grab your loved one a reusable Heart Glitter Cup; sure to be a sell-out, this eye-catching cup can be used for hot and cold beverages and is an ideal sidekick to get you through the day.
Introducing new gluten free and vegan healthy lunch options from Bol and Deliciously Ella
This year’s January menu has a healthy option for everyone, and through a partnership with Bol and Deliciously Ella, the choices are endless – and delicious! All menu items from Bol and Deliciously Ella are entirely gluten free and vegan, adding to Costa Coffee’s biggest ever vegan menu.
If a chilled food option is what you’re looking for, try the brand BOL Japanese Rainbow Salad. Pour the delicious dressing over the vibrant plant-powered jar of black rice, turtle beans, raw rainbow slaw, leafy greens and protein-rich edamame for a truly healthy and tasty meal. For a lighter option, try the Deliciously Ella Berry Granola, a balanced meal of raisins, nuts & seeds packed full of fibre and protein – not to mention its vegan and gluten free!
Also new as part of Costa Coffee’s January Menu is the Vegan Chilli Bean and Rice Pot, featuring cooked white rice with spicy chilli tomato sauce, red kidney beans, meat-free mince, roasted red pepper and a fresh serving of coriander.
Making a comeback for 2020 are much-loved savouries, including the British Roast Chicken Salad Sandwich and British Beef and Bolognese Mac & Cheese, a perfect selection to enjoy in-store or on-the-go.
It’s the end of December, but not the end of enjoying yourself
January is often a time for many to pull back on overindulgence, but a sweet treat is often much needed to perk us up on a cold day. Chocolate fans will be glad to know the All Butter Belgian Chocolate Cookie has been added to this year’s menu, made with butter and milk chocolate buttons.
If there’s been enough chocolate over the Christmas period, try the Seriously Caramel & Hazelnut Cake, a moist sticky sponge, filled and topped with a caramel and hazelnut frosting then finished with caramelised hazelnuts and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
January sale shoppers can pick up one of Costa Coffee’s brand new Millionaire’s Shortbread (Gluten Free) or a sweet packet of Jammy Shortbread biscuits (All butter) to snack on the go, or may opt for a Protein Nut Mix (Vegan) for something a little different.
