Costa CoffeeThe Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop, Costa Coffee, is excited to have re-opened its doors at 111 Great Portland Street, London – revealing a fully modernised store designed to deliver an elevated coffee experience for every kind of visit.

The redesigned store features a fresh, contemporary layout, and a bold new interior design that blends comfort, warmth and style. A new open plan counter puts Costa Coffee’s expert baristas at the heart of the experience, offering customers a view of their handcrafted drinks being made with care. For added convenience, sleek self-service digital kiosks have been introduced to make ordering easier and faster for those on the go.

Inside, a refined colour palette and soft, ambient lighting create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Artistic touches, including abstract artwork and wall installations inspired by coffee landscapes, also add to the inviting feel of the store.

The space has been thoughtfully laid out with a variety of seating options—high stools, cosy booths, and lounge chairs, catering to everything from quick visits to long, relaxed stays.

Every element of the refurbishment has been carefully considered to enhance hospitality and comfort. The revitalised space reflects Costa Coffee’s commitment to its customers and the communities it serves, combining the craft of exceptional coffee with the ease of a modern store convenience.

At the heart of it all is continued investment in Costa Coffee’s passionate baristas, whose passion remains central to every visit. And of course, every cup continues to feature the iconic Mocha Italia Signature taste, delivering the same great coffee customers know and love.

Nick Ridley, Property & Store Development Director for UK&I at Costa Coffee, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome customers back to our newly refreshed Great Portland Street store. This transformation reflects our ongoing investment in Central London and our ambition to create modern and inviting spaces, where enjoying a coffee becomes a meaningful part of the day. Whether you’re grabbing a Flat White to-go or settling in for the afternoon, we’re proud to offer an experience that’s as premium as the coffee we serve.”

This full store refresh is part of a wider series of major investments across Central London, following recent transformations at Costa Coffee’s New Oxford Street, Tooley Street, Argyll Street and Wigmore Street locations. Together, these upgrades highlight the brand’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its store estate and delivering a coffee experience that meets the needs of every kind of visit.
