Cott Beverages acquires Asda-listed SUSO soft drinks brand

Private label soft drinks manufacturer, Cott Beverages, has acquired the SUSO brand of sparkling and still soft drinks for an undisclosed sum. 

According to the company, SUSO complements the growing strength of the Cott UK branded portfolio and will sit alongside brands such as Old Jamaica Ginger Beer, Ting, Emerge, Red Rooster and Ben Shaws.

SUSO is a range of sparkling and still soft drinks primarily sold through the education sector and is claimed to offer a healthier alternative within the carbonates category. It is also sold in Asda stores.

The current range offers a blend of mixed fruit juice with water or natural flavourings and has no added sugars, sweeteners or artificial additives.  

Each serving qualifies as one of your five a day fruit intake, containing over 50% fruit juice.
