Today, Currys PC World announces the launch of its first ever branded hashtag challenge in partnership with social giant, TikTok.
Titled #TechTokTip, this exciting new competition encourages tech-loving TikTokers to reveal their top usage tips for common at-home appliances and tech devices, to be in with the chance of winning a £5,000 tech bundle.
In a new move from the UK’s largest electrical retailer, this branded TikTok campaign marks the start of a renewed brand strategy for 2021, with Currys PC World keen to drive awareness of their amazing tech and expertise amongst a previously untapped pool of consumers.
Working closely with the TikTok team, the retailer has identified and partnered with over 20 TikTok creators for launch, who will each help kick-start the challenge, encouraging others to get involved. The result will be a host of organic user generated content that can be repurposed by the retail giant on their other social accounts over the next 6 months.
Currys PC World is one of the first UK retailers to engage in a branded hashtag challenge with TikTok, further fortifying its position as innovator, market leader and tech expert.

The #TechTokTip branded hashtag challenge will run from the 8th April until the 30th April 2021 and is open to all UK residents over 18. Entrants will be judged by an independent adjudicator.
