Deliveroo launches match day bundles for football and tennis fans

Come Sunday, all eyes will be glued to the telly as sports fans across the country sit down to watch the nail-biting football and tennis finals – and thanks to Deliveroo, it won’t be with an empty stomach. From beer bundles to discounted half-time snacks, Deliveroo customers can get all the matchday essentials they need, delivered to the door in as little as 20 mins. From today, customers will be able to order everything from Pimms and summer fruits to chips and dips from grocery and local stores across the country via Deliveroo. 

Just in time for the games this weekend, Deliveroo’s on-demand partners including Co-op, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, BP, Morrisons, Waitrose and One Stop, have added even more items to ranges found on the food-delivery app, to ensure Brits can enjoy some delicious deals whilst watching the games. 

FOOTBALL BUNDLES

A range of football food items have been added to Co-op, Aldi, Waitrose, One Stop, Sainsbury’s and Shell in-app Deliveroo selection. 

Co-op has got all football fans’ favourites covered in their deals – Fans can grab their super saver offer including 4 x burgers and 4 x beers for just £3.50.

One Stop is offering a Matchday bundle this weekend, which includes a pizza, a share bag of crisps and a multipack of drinks for £10. Deliveroo customers can also save big with the Half Time Hunger bundle which includes a pizza and two sides for just £7.

BP are also offering deals across their beers crisps and snacks – offering a 20% discount off selected items. 

Aldi, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s have also added some best-selling footy food items to menus ahead of the weekend, including pizzas, hot dogs, chicken goujons, french fries and largers.

Customers can also order items including crisps, nuts, condiments, dips and soft drinks.

TENNIS BUNDLES 

For customers who’ll be tuning into the tennis on Sunday, looking to Ace their summer spread, Deliveroo’s got everything needed to serve up a grand slam. 

Aldi, Co-op, Morrisons and Waitrose have added the likes of scones, preserves, strawberries and cream, cakes and summer salads to their menu ahead of the tennis tournament final. 

Customers can leave the heavy lifting to Deliveroo, by ordering from a huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available through the app. 

Waitrose has everything customers need to make a jug of Pimm’s No. 1, with a special bundle of ingredients available to order, including Pimm’s, oranges, strawberries, cucumber, lemonade with lemon juice and mint for £19.25. 

Aldi, Co-op, and Morrisons are also offering a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic including Pimm’s No. 1, classic lagers, craft beers, ciders and gin and tonic.
