Disaronno International UK accelerates growth with appointment of category and marketing director

Disaronno International UK has announced the appointment of Miranda Osborne as category and marketing director.

The hire follows an announcement earlier this year from parent company Illva Saronno to launch its UK subsidiary, Disaronno International UK, signalling the end of a 20-year relationship with William Grant & Sons UK.

Osborne joins with a wealth of experience in the drinks industry. Most recently she held the role of Brand Director at Molson Coors where she drove national campaigns and collaborations including Carling’s ‘Made Local’. Osborne also held a Brand Director positions at Perrigo and GlaxoSmithKline as well as senior roles at Nestle and Mediacom.

In her new role as category and marketing director Osborne will be responsible for building on the success and brand presence of category leaders Disaronno and Tia Maria, as well as launching a series of new innovations which the company hinted at earlier this year. The first of which was Disaronno Velvet, a cream liqueur that has rapidly grown in popularity since it was launched in May.
