Chocolate brand Elizabeth Shaw is working with the baking team at this year’s BBC Good Food Show Winter (27 November to 1 December 2013).

The brand will be the chocolate supplier for The Great British Bake Off Stage and will run daily Elizabeth Shaw sessions hosted by TV cook and bestselling author Jo Pratt, who will be demonstrating how to use Elizabeth Shaw in her recipes live on stage.

TV cook and bestselling author Jo Pratt has been announced as the brand ambassador during the partnership and will be demonstrating how to bake with Elizabeth Shaw chocolate live stage.

The timing coincides with the launch of a new 85% Cocoa Bar, which has just been launched in Sainsbury’s – designed for baking and eating, the bar comes in 100g with a RRP of £2.29.

As well as working with Pratt throughout the BBC Good Show Winter, Elizabeth Shaw has created a baking competition which featured on the brand’s website throughout September. The ‘Chocolate Baking Challenge’ encouraged everyone and anyone to get baking with Elizabeth Shaw chocolate. The winner will be in with the chance of a meet and greet with The Great British Bake Off judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry and have their recipe featured live on The Great British Bake Off Stage at the Show.

Karen Crawford, managing director of Elizabeth Shaw, said: “We are really pleased to be part of The Great British Bake Off phenomenon at this year’s BBC Good Food Show Winter. Having Jo Pratt on board working with our brand at the show is a great honour and showcasing that you can bake recipes with Elizabeth Shaw is really important to us. Whilst our chocolate is indeed perfect for enjoying as a delicious treat, it is also perfect for bakingwith and our involvement with The Great British Bake Off Stage really highlights the diversity of the brand.”
