Florette, the UK’s biggest prepared salad brand, is releasing a series of infographics to shed light on the prepared bag salad market – 479 m units are sold in the UK each year.
Every few months it will share a fun infographic with the latest industry and Florette statistics on the salad market.
Following statistics which revealed that 37% of all bagged salad is wasted at home, Florette undertook stringent research on how consumers typically buy and use bagged salad. It then launched new, smaller pack sizes and reduced prices – bucking the ‘shrinkflation’ trend – as part of a pioneering waste reduction initiative.
