Aamir Ahmad is to step aside from his role as managing director at furniture retailer Dwell but will retain a significant financial interest in the business.
Ahmad will be replaced by Rebecca Cotterell, formerly CEO of Adams Childrenswear and British Shoe Corporation.
Ahmad said: “Following our recent expansion and with further equity investment coming into the group, now seemed like a good time to hand over the reins. Dwell has achieved much over the last two years despite the difficult market conditions, and I am convinced that the brand is well placed for continued growth.”
Key Capital partners continue to support the business and has committed substantial new investment as part of its ongoing work, and to ensure the long term future of the company, it said.
