The Fylde Trogz Explorer Scouts held a fashion show at Fylde District Scout Headquarters on Sunday 1 March, 6-8pm.

Freeport Fleetwood, their local outlet shopping centre, supported the show by donating outfits from a range of stores at the centre, including M&S Outlet, Next Clearance, Moss, Mountain Warehouse and Klass and by organising a professional photographer to snap the 20 enthusiastic models.

The event was organised to raise money for their trip to the Kandersteg International Scouts Centre in Switzerland.

John Magee, centre manager at Freeport Fleetwood, said: “We were delighted to support the Explorer Scouts with clothing and accessories for the fashion show. Freeport Fleetwood has some great shopping for families and children of all ages and it is a great destination for visitors from the Fleetwood, Lytham and Blackpool areas.

“We are glad the fashion show raised £856.15 to support the Explorer Scouts with their summer camp trip to Switzerland. We can’t wait to hear the tales of their alpine adventure.”

Freeport Fleetwood offers a wide choice of fashion, homewares, fragrances, accessories and gift ideas from designer and high street stores including Denby, M&S Outlet, Skopes and GAP Outlet. There are a wealth of locations in which to refuel too – whether it’s a light bite at Costa Coffee or a laid-back lunch in the Bay Tea Rooms. Late night shopping is also available every Thursday until 8pm.
