Funkin Cocktails serves up £1.2m advertising campaign

Funkin Cocktails (, the UK’s leading cocktail brand which makes great tasting cocktails available to all, whenever and wherever they are, is launching its festive advertising campaign, the biggest advertising investment the brand has made in its 22-year history.

The £1.2m campaign is part of Funkin Cocktails strategy to grow its awareness and market share by supporting sales through its off-trade and on-trade partners, as well as its own ecommerce platform. It will enable the brand to capitalise on booming demand in the UK ready-to-drink market, which last year was worth £412m, an increase of 23% when compared to 2019.

The campaign, which goes live on digital and social media this week and rolls out onto Channel 4, Sky and ITV. The campaign goes live on the 27th November and during launch weekend it will feature in ‘Close to me’ on Channel 4. The advert focuses on Funkin Cocktails delicious ready to drink Passion Fruit Martini cocktail bottle-  the brands own take on the infamous Pornstar Martini. The advert is one part of a wider campaign that also includes, billboards, social and digital.

The ads were created by agency Visual Method and are designed to reach 84% of 25-44 year olds, a total of 14.2m people, in spots across TV, VOD, Display, Social Media and OOH. The brand will also launch an e-retail campaign, boosting visibility across all of the major retailers.

The colourful, eye-catching creative opens with a mouthwatering shot of the cocktails amongst festive garlands and garnishes. The bright background is removed to reveal a couple preparing their home for Christmas, with decorations strewn across the room, emphasising the message that Funkin cocktails are ‘Best served together’, no matter what consumers are up to this festive season.
