Pets at Home’s VIP Club won the Best Loyalty Programme of the Year and the Best Long Term Loyalty Initiative at The Loyalty Magazine Awards 2017. The award winning VIP Club was powered by digital marketing agency, GI Insight and Havas Helia who helped secure the five million loyalty programme members.
The Loyalty Magazine Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and best practice in the loyalty industry and this year’s awards saw Pets at Home scoop two wins for their VIP Club initiative; Best Loyalty Programme of the Year and Best Long Term Loyalty Initiative.
GI Insight’s intelligent use of data has helped the VIP Club communicate with its members, enhance their shopping experience and react to customers’ needs by staying ahead of competitors. In 2016, the VIP Club signed up a new member every 23 seconds and today’s five million members account for 66% of store revenue. Overall the loyalty programme has seen almost 50% of UK pet owners sign up, increasing Pets at Home’s market share to 38%.
